As Dean of the School of Business & Industry at Casper College, Rachel leads a diverse range of academic and workforce development programs that align with the college’s mission to provide an education for a lifetime that prepares individuals to thrive and adapt in an ever-changing

world. She oversees departments that span traditional business disciplines, such as Accounting, Marketing, and Economics, to skilled trades like Welding, Automotive Technology, and Construction, as well as cutting-edge fields like Cybersecurity and Advanced Manufacturing. In addition, Rachel manages the college’s noncredit Workforce Development department, ensuring responsive and innovative solutions to community and industry needs.

Rachel earned a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from the University of Wyoming. She has a unique combination of expertise in public, nonprofit, and educational sectors which enables her to drive

initiatives that foster economic resilience, workforce development, and community engagement.

Rachel is passionate about the intersection of education, training, and employment in Wyoming, and recognizes the critical role of collaboration between local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations. She is committed to leveraging resources, engaging

stakeholders, and strengthening partnerships to support Wyoming’s communities in an ever-evolving economic landscape.

Rachel is a proud alum of Leadership Wyoming and outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the mountains and at the ocean every chance she gets!

With 15 years of experience at the University of Wyoming College of Education, Jody has developed a versatile skill set working as an office associate, student advisor, and manager of an academic advising office. Having worked across multiple facets of student support, Jody has built a strong foundation in administrative operations, student advising, and team management. In the role of student advisor, Jody guided students in course selection, and academic strategies, helping them navigate their educational journey with confidence. In Jody's current role as manager of an academic advising office, they lead a dedicated team in fostering a supportive environment for students, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive advising services. With a deep passion for student success and a focus on continuous improvement, Jody has played a key role in enhancing academic programs, promoting student engagement, and building strong relationships within the university community.

Outside of working at the University of Wyoming, Jody has strong roots in Wyoming. She comes from a cattle ranching family who settled in the Upper Platte Valley in the 1870s. She enjoys fly fishing, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her daughter, husband, and 10-year-old German Shepherd.
